Project Overview
When the City of Oak Lawn undertook the challenge of upgrading its aging infrastructure and confined space pump station, an above-ground station was identified as the most effective solution. This approach allowed the municipality to address both operational efficiency and long-term durability. The building was designed to provide robust protection from the elements, featuring a structurally sound exterior with customizable façade options and an FRP interior that enhances strength and resilience. Together, these elements ensure the facility meets applicable building codes while safeguarding critical equipment.
A key priority for the City was maintaining continuous accessibility to all pumps and controls. By housing the system within a climate-controlled, enclosed environment, operators can perform maintenance and inspections without exposure to weather-related disruptions. The safer, more efficient working environment extends equipment longevity by streamlining service and protection of valuable assets.
