Metropolitan Industries’ design, manufacturing, and application expertise allows us to provide high level education on a variety of water movement and management topics pertaining to the use of pumps, controls, and related equipment. Training is available for nearly all of our products or systems, which encompasses municipal water and wastewater infrastructures to plumbing and mechanical processes in commercial, industrial and residential applications.

Our trainings satisfy state credit requirements, including Professional Development Hours (PDH) and Continuing Education Units (CEU’s).

Qualified participants may register for our scheduled seminars (regularly scheduled each Spring and Fall at our Romeoville, IL headquarters) or inquire about setting up a custom training that allows for additional topic selection and scheduling flexibility. This class will cover semi-instantaneous domestic hot water generation using steam and non-potable boiler water. We will review the different design styles, control configurations and recommended piping best practices. We will review common Illinois state and local plumbing codes applicable to these types of systems. We will also review the information needed for properly sizing the equipment for new and retrofit applications.
