Metropolitan Industries has launched the MetroWatch, an enhanced alarm notification system designed for cost-effective monitoring of water-related processes for municipal and commercial applications. The cloud-based cellular alarm panel features an intuitive SCADA-powered web interface that allows you to remotely configure and view data from a range of devices. Whether you’re on the go with your mobile device or at your desk using a computer, you have complete control of your equipment’s performance.
Monitor and set alarm notifications for a variety of pump and system process variables, including but not limited to, pressure, flow, level, temperature, and power. The alarm panel includes four analog inputs and eight digital inputs for connection with existing and/or non-PLC based equipment to meet the process demands of our clients with greater efficiency. Additional features allow multi-user support for small business owners, facility supervisors, and property managers to control monitoring permissions and configure alarm notifications with personalized personnel or additional contacts.
The user configurable interface allows for each sensor to be configured individually, with granular setpoints ensuring precise monitoring and data integrity. Users can actively monitor real-time statuses with advanced trending capabilities and the added benefit of recent historical data to help make more informed decisions during routine operations or in emergencies.
With advanced alarm notification availability, users can set their own way of receiving alerts whether it’s via phone call, text message, and/or email notifications. MetroWatch ensures users and teams can always be kept in the loop. Configure notifications for specific activities and conditions to confirm routine operation and for warning of possible issues when irregularities are detected. Owners and supervisors can account for personnel availability when scheduling or prioritizing notifications, including automatic follow-up when previous notifications are unacknowledged.
The MetroWatch is powered by MetroCloud, our cloud-based SCADA system for monitoring and controlling high-volume water-related activity in municipal and building applications. The MetroWatch comes with the same standard features and defense-in-depth security for a true value-added upgrade over existing dialers which have less functionality.
