Job Summary:
Inspects, services, repairs, and installs pumps and associated equipment for a variety of customers, resulting in high performance equipment and excellent customer relations.
Duties/Job Responsibilities:
- Install/troubleshoot/repair pump systems in the field and in our shop
- Drive to customer jobsites in company vehicles (including crane trucks)
- Provide excellent customer service and insure all issues are resolved
- Complete detailed service and warranty reports
- Work as a team with your coworkers in our Service Department
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble pumps of from multiple manufacturers
- Ability to recognize, understand, and troubleshoot electrical controls
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and other related electrical/metering equipment
- Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Experience:
- High School or equivalent. Education and experience will be considered
- Valves and Motors a plus
- HVAC Powers and controls a plus
- Motor Control Centers a plus
Physical requirements:
- Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices
- Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs pounds at a time
Work Environment:
- 70% of time is spent in the field
- 25% of time is spent in the shop
- 5% of time is spent in the office
- Position has periodic on call requirements
- The performance of this position occasionally requires exposure to manufacturing areas where under certain circumstances the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes, odors, dust, oil/grease, and dirt. The employee is frequently exposed to mechanical hazards, moving objects, heights, and cramped spaces.
